Packing List for Your First Camping Trip
If all you know about camping has come from watching boy scout movies on Direct tv you may want to prepare thoroughly before you head out into the woods. If you need a packing list, we’ve got you covered
Lantern – Crucial piece of equipment and should be very bright and have a long-lasting battery
Cooler – You’ll need it to keep your perishable food cold and it’s great for storing food at night, too. Also consider getting a bear bag.
Trash Bags – Speaking of, you’ll want some trash bags so you can leave the place clean
Foam Mat – When you lay down to sleep you don’t want to feel every rock beneath youget a foam mat.
Bug Spray – No matter what time of year it is, you’re probably going to get bitten. Bug spray or citronella candles can help.
Cash – To buy entrance to the campground and firewood you’ll likely need cash
Water Purifiers – You may not need them but just to be safe. Also, don’t forget fire starters, either.
Corkscrew – How else are you going to open the wine?
